Ancilla Catholic Comprehensive College is recognised and approved by the Archbishop of the Catholic Archdiocese of Bamenda, and the Ministry of National  Education in Cameroon.
The Superior General of the Handmaids of the Holy Child Jesus is the proprietor of Ancilla College and is responsible for the formulation of school policies. The  everyday interpretation and administration of this is delegated to the Principal who is appointed by the Superior General and her Council.The Principal oversee the day to day running of the school and  is assisted by the Vice Principal.
